Kocadere is located half-way between Eceabat and Kaba-tepe. This authentic village, a farming community where coffee house talk is mostly about crops, harvests & life stock, may not feature on all present day maps but in 1915 it was an important HQ of the “Ariburnu Northern Group” of the Turkish Army.
