Eric,

A belated note to thank you very much for looking after me so well when I stayed with you in early July.  I thoroughly enjoyed everything about visiting Gallipoli, but the Gallipoli Houses were a particular highlight.  Your location is out-standing, by far the most convenient to the battlefields, and your hospitality was first class:  the room was great, the cooking terrific and the warmth of your welcome second to none.  I especially enjoyed our chat long into the evening.  I'm afraid to say that your status as a secret hideaway is under real threat -I have been telling everybody how wonderful you were!!  Please pass by thanks to Ozlem and everybody at the Gallipoli Houses.

We have a no-children policy (under the age of 10) so that the hotel maintains its intimate and peaceful atmosphere.

The Gallipoli Houses is a fully licensed hotel therefore offers a good range of alcoholic beverages, including beer, spirits & regional wines.

Visit our
"the Gallipoli campaign" website.

A
large collection of pictures taken during numerous walks, complimented with period pictures and passages from the many books that have been written on this ill-fated campaign.  In no way is this an attempt to give an overview of the campaign, nor is this an online guidebook, but rather a kaleidoscope on the Gallipoli campaign.

Meals :

Breakfast  is of the sort that one saves for a beloved friend on a Sunday morning and can be hearty or healthy: cereals, fried eggs, fresh bread, homemade jams and spreads, cheeses and cold cuts, fresh seasonal fruit and of course freshly brewed coffee or tea and fruit juices.

(breakfast is served every morning between 08h00-10h00)

As there are no restaurants or eateries in the village we provide evening meals but they should be ordered at the time of booking.
Our dinner is a 4 course table d’hôte dinner, for which we use fresh produce, locally sourced whenever possible.
Although we do serve some “Turkish classics”, many of our dishes have a little “world” influence. “Turkish with a twist” is what one of our guests aptly called the unpretentious home-cooked food we serve.

(Dinner is served at 20h00, Monday through to Friday / no evening meals on Saturday and Sunday nights)

Lunch is not served but a "knapsack" can be prepared from the breakfast table.
