Very
little is known about this lonely grave at the edge of the village graveyard
in Yalova. The translation of the inscription reads as follows :
”While assisting wounded Turkish soldiers, the wife of Captain Doktor
Ragıp, the
German nurse Erica, lost her life through shellfire.
26th September 1915”
